How fast can I go with my Lanéva dayboat?

You can expect a top speed of 30 knots.

How far can I go with my Lanéva dayboat ?

With today's battery technology, you can expect a range between 40 and 45 nautical miles. The exact range is of course highly dependent on the sea state.

At 20 knots, you can expect driving for 2 hours.

At 15 knots, you can expect driving for 3 hours.

How do you charge the Lanéva dayboat? How long does it take?

The good news is that you don't need a supercharger as our boat can be charged with electric plugs available in most ports in the French Mediterranean Sea. Therefore, the complete charge will take around 3 hours with a 63A triphased socket. Otherwise, we can also use the AC charging stations developed for electric cars.

What can I do if I breakdown in the middle of the sea?

As you get real time remaining level of batteries on the double screens or on your phone, for each engine, you are kept informed of energy available. On top of this, our engines can work separately in case of a breakdown to ensure redundancy of the system. In addition to that, you can allow our service team to access your system, even at sea, and make a diagnostics or a repair in remote.

Is it possible to wakeboard or water ski with the Lanéva dayboat?

Yes, of course. The immediate torque of the electric motor is in general a big asset for all towed nautical activities.

Where is the dayboat manufactured?

Our partner shipyards are based between France, Switzerland and Italy.

What kind of propulsion do you use?

Axial flux motor technology with unrivaled power density and a plug & play easy connection. They have bee, tested for planes, where reliability is not a choice.

What type of battery does the Lanéva dayboat use? How heavy are they?

We use Superior Lithium Polymer Batteries based on the Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) chemistry. The batteries total weight is 850 kg.

What don't you use solar panels?

We looked at it but decided not to for the moment as the available surface is too small.

What eco-materials do you use?

Bio composite made out of balsa wood and volcanic fiber, linen fiber, cork and recyclable leatherette.

How much does the Lanéva dayboat weigh?

2,5 tonnes including motors and batteries.

Is there a way to lighten the boat using other materials?

Yes, we are constantly looking how to optimize weight and eco-materials. The secret is always to find the perfect balance between performance, comfort and energy efficiency.

What is the thought behind the hull design?

It’s a mix between runabout and modern brands. The objective is to make the most of the efficiency of electric propulsion while offering quality interior fittings that are rich in options.

What kind of options do you propose?

We offer unlimited options. That being said, we respond positively to each special request whether it concerns custom deck layout or a fully tailor-made boat.

What is the lead time to build a dayboat?

It takes 6 months for the base and then it will depends on your customization requirements.

Can you go on the sea with the Lanéva dayboat?

Yes, our dayboat is designed for both lake and sea.

Do you offer other models than the dayboat?

Yes. Based on the same powertrain technology, we have designed a shuttle boat for luxury resorts. She can be used for transporting guests or as dayboat for the guests. We have also developed a catamaran that can be adapted for transportation, diving or pleasure.
